location for my purposes
My room had a noisy air conditioner unit outside the window. Underground carpark full on two occasions.
The Hotel staff were so helpfull, The green Taxi they sent to the airport for our pick up is not expensive and Avril our lady drive was very friendly and informative it was our first time in SA.The hotel is in a great location to walk to the V&A waterfront there is a great coffee shop around the corner. It was a good place to stay and value for money.
The wait/service staff were wonderful. Attentive, pleasant, and very helpful.
The hallways were hot, (however, the room AC worked well) and "standard double" (two twin beds that kept separating, and not one full sized mattress) - should have requested a change, but I did not however I'm sure that if I had, I would have been accommodated.
location and accessibility to all local shopping. Nice part of Cape Town. Lots of restaurants to choose from
The rooms are very old style especially Aircon and bathrooms
i was told that it would not cost anything to have my shirts ironed and that i only needed to tip the staff....i was not impressed when i received a R250 extra on my bill at check-out
The staff were very helpful
They use a car service and are not allowed to use taxis. The car service left us stranded for an hour and a half. We then gave up and took a taxi which the hotel refunded.
near to v and a waterfront
the price of the breakfasts was completely unreasonable
Absolutely nothing, it was the most awful hotel I have ever stayed at, I would never recommend staying here and will not return.
Very noisy property, unfriendly front desk staff, major complaint was noise both from traffic and from loft room above whereby you hear people constantly walking up and down the stairs. Awful.....
I think the staff was extremely friendly and professional. Great breakfast buffet everyday. It was within walking distance of several areas I wished to visit.
Nice environment, friendly staff, service with a big smile!
the group of british people who where to loud early morning 5:30.....
stylish hotel and friendly staff, good value for money, excellent breakfast
a bit too far from waterfront and Convention centre to walk at night. I would advise taxis (which are inexpensive)
Its proximity to amenities and the cleanliness and price
The noise, music and high revving cars tillthe wee hours of the morning
The room was very plush, the staff very helpful and polite. great being able to get of you car under the hotel. Very centrally located for centre of Cape Town and the V&A Harbour. Mervin in the resturant was exceptionally helpful
Location , Location , Location. t was perfect location for us as we attended fifa world cup matches at nearby green point stadium. Also, breakfast buffet was good , and car park in basement was useful and safe at reasnable price
maybe the hotel need some better ventilation as we kept smelling some cooking smoke in elevator and in the staicase. Also , hotel couldnt print out check out statment however, promise to email it ( since we left a day before due to no airline booking)
really friendly and attentive staff, great breakfast buffet, good location as only 10-15 min walk to the waterfront.
